How do I choose the correct chain lube?
We have a full article diving deep into this answer but the short answer is based on your riding conditions:
Speed Blend Dry Conditions Chain Lube - ideal for dry and dusty conditions where it is important to avoid dust sticking to your chain and causing excess friction.
Speed Blend All Conditions Chain Lube - best for mixed conditions where you are more likely to have tacky dirt, may encounter a bit of mud or water, or for road riding where reduced friction is prioritized.
Power Drive High Torque Chain Lube - Specially formulated for situations where your chain will be experiencing extreme torque such as race day efforts or for eBikes and eMotos rides. This lube provides the ultimate in friction reduction and resists being displaced by torque forces. Plus, it works as an electrical contact conditioner.
Do I need to wipe off excess lube from my chain immediately or leave on?
For our Dry Conditions Lube, we recommend allowing the lube time to deeply penetrate into the rollers of your chain, then allow 60+ minutes for the lube to fully dry, then wipe away the excess.
What’s the difference between Dry Conditions, All Conditions and Power drive chain lubes?

How often do I need to re-apply lube to my chain?
You can find a deep-dive article in our blog. Below is a quick reference guide:
When properly applied, our lubes will last 200+ miles between applications (depending on weather and riding conditions). Chain lubes will last longest in dry scenarios while wet and muddy conditions will reduce lubrication longevity.
Dry Conditions Lube will need to be reapplied somewhat more frequently but has the best ratio of friction reduction vs dirt resistance vs longevity.
Our All Conditions and Power Drive Lubes have different formulation and are more viscous (thick) and provide a longer interval between applications but more prone to dirt adhesion. As such, you may need to clean your chain and re-lube.
For best results, we recommend using Chain + Drivetrain Cleaner to fully clean your chain before re-lubricating.
Do any of your chain lubes work for motorcycle chains?
Our bike lubes are not formulated for the conditions and forces that a motorcycle chain endures. However, our Power Drive Chain Lube works well for light-duty eMotos (like Surrons and Talarias).
Why do I need a specific lube for my ebike?
EBike drivetrains experience higher torque and load forces than a standard road or mountain bike while still using much, if not all, of the same components that aren’t necessarily optimized for the higher torque numbers. As such, we developed our chain lube to provide the most friction protection while adhering strongly to your chain and rollers, and not getting displaced from these extra high forces.
