Why We Created Fast Wax

What we love about chain wax

Chain wax lubricants are growing increasingly popular in cycling because they deliver a cleaner, more efficient drivetrain compared to traditional oil-based lubes. Wax lubes form a dry, protective coating on the chain that sheds dust, grit, and grime while providing long-lasting friction protection. This keeps chains, cassettes, and chainrings visibly cleaner while also minimizing wear and reducing the need for deep-cleaning maintenance. This gives you a smoother, quieter drivetrain with improved efficiency especially in dry and dusty riding conditions like gravel or mountain biking.

How To Apply Fast Wax

How To Prep an Oiled Chain

For a new chain or one that has been coated with an oil-based lube, begin by applying Formula 100 Chain + Drivetrain Degreaser on all your drivetrain components (avoid getting it on your rotors/brakes). Allow to clean for 5-10min, then rinse off. For really dirty chains, repeat this process. Next, dry your chain completely. Compressed air can significantly speed this process.

The Best

The Best

it applies so easily, smoothly, and went into the links really well. My bike rides very quietly and I don't notice my chain at all in the best possible way from start to finish. During MidSouth I heard a lot of squeaking chains, but mine was not one of them
